Venue
Training School on Multimodal Optical Imaging will be held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University.
The venue of school is situated in the historic town of Trnava, situated 45km to the north-east of the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Trnava is the first free royal town in Slovakia – the Hungarian king Belo IV awarded Trnava privileges in 1238. Trnava is since long a university town: its first university was founded by the Ostrihom archbishop Peter Pazman in 1635. Today, Trnava has 2 universities: the Trnava University and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (UCM).
Transport options to Trnava
To Travel to Trnava, the easiest is to arrive to Bratislava airport (BTS) – there are now Ryanair flights directly to Bratislava.
From the BTS airport , you can take bus 61 to train station and take train to Trnava (see links below, cca every 30mins), or get to bus station (Bratislava, AS, Mlynske Nivy) and take a bus (see links below).
