Research activities and Selected Applications:
Research in the field of cardiovascular diseases on molecular, tissue and organ levels, in the context of the patient diagnosis and therapy. Activities and selected application: Reseach of biometric, morphologic, histologic and molecular changes during the development of cardiovascular diseases with a special focus on hypertrophy and hypertension, the study of mechanisms of pharmacological intervention of experimental left ventricular hypertrophy using an animal model of the spontaneously hypertensive rat.
